Hazit
A house located in a classic, old neighborhood, overlooking a spectacular sea view
An additional level was added to the house to double the space in order to make it a home that could accommodate 6 people. As a part of the new design, the house was built around an axis connecting the garden to the view.
Clean lines guided this re-design.
Large windows opened the view to the trees and shrubs, letting light inside.
Some of the windows are covered with wooden, decorative screens to create both shade and privacy.
The second floor was designed with the parents in mind. A low-profile staircase that doesn't disturb the flow, leads up to an open, workspace overlooking the sea. The design allows one to enjoy the afternoon breeze while watching spectacular sunsets.
